This full-time, onsite contract position is ideal for an experienced educator ready to champion student growth as part of the Learning for Life Program. The assignment begins August 17th and runs through June 4th, offering full engagement across the academic year.

Step into a supportive setting where you’ll work closely with a group of 15 students, collaborating with staff and families to deliver individualized instruction. Your expertise and passion will help ensure that every learner receives the support and encouragement they need to thrive.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education Teacher Certification is required
• Experience working with middle school students preferred
• Strong understanding of individualized instruction and IEP development
• Proven ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and families
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and positive classroom environment

Primary Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and adapt lesson plans to meet IEP goals and student needs
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records
• Partner with general education teachers, specialists, and paraprofessionals to ensure continuity of support
• Facilitate effective communication with parents/guardians regarding student progress
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and IEP conferences
• Cultivate a safe, supportive classroom climate that values every student
