J ob Title: Field Service Mechanic - Heavy Machinery
Location: Farmingdale, NY
Pay: $25.00 to $45.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM

The Role: We are hiring a Heavy Machinery Mechanic to join our tight knit service department. In this position, you will utilize your mechanical expertise to service exclusive vendor lines. You will work directly alongside a highly experienced foreman who believes in training and internal promotion.

Responsibilities:

• Tear down, inspect, and rebuild heavy equipment components.
• Focus heavily on hydraulic and electrical troubleshooting.
• Ensure all repairs meet strict manufacturer safety guidelines.
• Test equipment thoroughly before client delivery.

Requirements:

• Professional experience in heavy machinery repair.
• Solid understanding of hydraulic fluid dynamics and electrical systems.
• Must possess your own tools.
• Capable of commuting reliably to our Farmingdale facility.
• Must pass a standard background check.
