Receptionist for Law Firm

$19.00 - $20.00/hour DOE

We are recruiting for a legal receptionist for a local well-known and admired attorney's office. This position does not require previous legal experience, just a well rounded reception and administrative background.

DUTIES:

• Greets clients and visitors in person or over the telephone. Ascertains nature of business and provides standard information related to legal services and/or directs them to appropriate staff or attorney.
• Answers, screens and forwards high-volume incoming calls on 6-line multi-phone system. Takes messages and/or routes calls to appropriate staff or attorney.
• Receives, sorts and distributes mail and legal document deliveries. Prepares outgoing certified mail.
• Schedules in-person and/or phone appointments for attorneys and staff. Maintains and schedules conference rooms.
• Performs credit card payments in person and over the phone.
• Maintain kitchen and lobby areas.
• Perform routine clerical duties that can be in an environment of constant interruptions.
• Sign continuing employee confidentiality agreement.
• Ensure maintenance and/or repair of office equipment
• Performs other duties as required.

• Microsoft Office
• Outlook 365
• Copier/Fax/Scanner/Printer
• Postage Meter Machine
• Notary License (preferred)
