Responsibilities
- Perform assessment/data collection focusing on physiologic, psychosocial, and cognitive status.
- Implement care using the Nursing Process, following predetermined procedures, policies, and care plans.
- Identify patient/significant other learning needs and provide education as defined by policy/care plans.
- Document in patient charts via electronic medical records and/or paper processes per policy and regulatory requirements.
- Delegate appropriate patient care activities and supervise assigned coworkers; may function as Charge Nurse when needed.
- Maintain safety and infection control, equipment competency, and adherence to safety requirements; contribute to continuous quality improvement.

Requirements
- Education: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- License: Current Washington State RN Licensure.
- Certification: HCP (Healthcare Provider) Level of BLS within 30 days of hire (AHA or equivalent).
- Experience: Acute care RN experience preferred; minimum one year preferred for specialty nursing departments.
- Skills: Ability to perform RN duties across the age continuum; strong critical thinking and sound clinical judgment; effective communication with patients, families, and the care team.
- Work setting: Ability to function effectively in a home healthcare environment and coordinate care with diverse care settings.
