Vice President Mergers and Acquisitions

As our VP of Mergers and Acquisition - you will report to our division level President.

On any given day in this role you will:
  • Lead large, diverse teams of managers, supervisors, and senior professionals.
  • Oversee performance and results across multiple related units.
  • Develop and executes departmental plans aligned with business, operational, and organizational priorities.
  • Controls resources and shapes policy within the area of responsibility.
  • Make decisions based on resource availability and functional objectives.
  • Solve complex problems that extend beyond existing methodologies and disciplines.
  • Deliver results and adapts plans in dynamic business or regulatory environments.
  • Contributes to functional or departmental strategy and, in larger organizations, directly influences business priorities and planning.
Qualifications:
  • MBA preferred with a strong focus on finance, project management, and business planning for transformation preferred.
  • Bachelors degree in finance, engineering, or business required.
  • Minimum of 15 years of acquisition, merger, integration, transformation experience working to identify potential acquisitions and mergers
  • Experience with manufacturing, Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM), or product centered businesses is required
  • Must be able to travel to support business goals - globally and domestically
  • Must be able to follow through with integration planning procedures once sourcing of targets is complete
  • Must be able to build a business plan for presentation to stakeholders, internal and external, and board members.
  • While this is an individual contributor role, strong leadership experience is required as this role will influence the future growth of JBT Marel.

This role is located onsite in Chicago office of JBT Marel

Must be able to work in the US without company sponsorship now or in the future.

The estimated annual salary range for this role is $225,000K - $275,000K annually. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Starting salary will vary by location, qualifications, and prior experience.
