Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Hours (07:30 - 16:00)

Experience: Minimum 2 years preferred; will consider 1 year on a case-by-case basis

License: Pending state license accepted

Certifications: BLS, NBCOT

Must-Have:

• Recent experience with Epic charting preferred
• Comfortable with LTAC facility
• Attendance policy adherence

Description:

The position involves working with patients in a Long Term Acute Care setting. The shifts are scheduled for days, typically Monday through Friday, with Saturday rotation as needed. The role requires interaction with diverse patient populations, including adults and geriatrics. Your responsibilities will include assessments, treatment planning, and direct patient care. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services. The facility manages a range of patient diagnoses, including respiratory failure, chronic wounds, and amputations. You will engage in family training and conferences as part of the care process. There's a strong focus on rehabilitation and functional independence. Compliance with attendance policy is critical; excessive missed shifts can lead to contract review for cancellation. Travelers must ensure all compliance documents are submitted on time. Capable of adapting to diverse patient needs and developing appropriate care plans.
