The Parts Manager’s main responsibility is to manage and develop the parts business in a cost efficient and profitable way. The parts manager ensures a healthy inventory level that meets the needs of the end customers and the service department and contributes to a profitable business with well-defined targets. This is achieved by a high level of parts availability and parts sales. This work contributes to an optimized utilization of the service shop and long profitable relations with the customers. Manage Parts Customer Relations – Build and develop new and existing customer relationships, ensuring availability and prices are being met and delivered to meet expectations. Manage Parts Operations – Work accordingly to standards, regulations, and requirements, comply with policies and procedures, completion of documents and records and maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness within the workshop Manage Parts Operations Compliance – Contribute to the environment and culture by bracing acceptance, active teamwork participation, self-peer accountability while committing to professional development Service Department Leadership – Create and foster an environment that embraces acceptance, cultivates teamwork, holds everyone accountable, and steadfastly commits to professional development.
