Special Security Officer Specialist

Special Security Officer Specialist Responsibilities: Process and maintain company and government inspectable records and procedures for employees to obtain and maintain government security clearances or positions of trust. Apply advanced skills, extensive technical expertise, and full industry knowledge. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Work without considerable direction. Mentor and supervise team members. Qualifications: Experience performing personnel security functions working in a Special Security Office as a National Security Adjudicator, Background Investigator, or Security Manager. Knowledge of security functions and tasks for mass indoctrination and security clearance management. Knowledge of document control, physical security, or security education and training. TS/SCI clearance. HS diploma or GED. Nice to have: Experience with inspections of classified material storage facilities, SCIFs and containers. Knowledge of National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) and DoW Directives. Knowledge of SCIF and SAPF processes and procedures. Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required. Compensation: Salary range $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). Work Model Remote: The position may require occasional travel to Booz Allen or customer facilities. Hybrid: Employees will work from a Booz Allen facility frequently and may also visit customer sites. Onsite: Work will primarily be performed at a Booz Allen or customer facility.
