Front Desk Check-In Coordinator

We are seeking a friendly, outgoing, and energetic Front Desk Check-In Coordinator to join our busy ophthalmology practice. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, excels at multitasking, and takes pride in delivering excellent customer service.

Position Overview
This role is a key part of our front office team, supporting a busy clinic with four providers. The ideal candidate is organized, positive, detail-oriented, and works well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in patients in a high-volume clinic
• Answer incoming phone calls in a professional and courteous manner
• Schedule patient appointments accurately and efficiently
• Verify and check insurance information
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients and coworkers
• Support the team in a fast-paced, multitasking environment

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Strong computer skills and fast, accurate typing ability
• Ability to stay organized and focused in a busy setting
• Positive attitude, energetic personality, and team-player mindset
