Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse

The Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients during labor, delivery, and postpartum. The role requires strong clinical skills in managing both high-risk and low-risk pregnancies. Candidates must possess experience working with high acuity patients. Daily responsibilities include caring for patients on magnesium drips, insulin drips, and PCA pumps. The RN will assist in various procedures including vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections. Additionally, the nurse will provide postpartum care for both mother and newborn. The position includes collaboration with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care. Candidates should be adaptable to float between units and manage multiple patients efficiently. Strong communication skills and teamwork are essential for success in this role. Knowledge of fetal monitoring techniques and postpartum hemorrhage management is required. This role is vital for ensuring safe and effective labor and delivery services.
