They specialize in ground-up industrial, distribution, and cold storage facilities for leading developers and institutional owners. They're looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead industrial design-build projects from their Chicago office. The opportunity This is a leadership role for a proven industrial builder who has delivered spec and build-to-suit projects for developers. You'll own projects from preconstruction and design management through turnover, lead project teams, and play a key part in client relationships and repeat business. Responsibilities Lead ground-up industrial, distribution, manufacturing, and cold storage projects under design-build delivery Manage the design process, including coordination with architects and engineers, value engineering, and constructability reviews Own project budgets, schedules, buyout, and financial reporting Serve as the primary contact for owners and developers, and build long-term client relationships Lead and mentor Project Managers, APMs, and Project Engineers Partner with field leadership on safety, quality, and schedule Support preconstruction and business development Qualifications 10+ years of general contractor experience, with a strong track record on industrial projects Design-build experience, including managing design teams Experience working with industrial developers and institutional owners Experience with tilt-up, precast, and pre-engineered structures Strong leadership, communication, and financial management skills Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred Chicagoland-based or open to relocating Compensation and benefits Competitive salary and bonus potential Comprehensive benefits package A leadership role within a growing, people-first organization For a confidential conversation, message Michael O'Connor at Scott Humphrey.
