Customer Retention Specialist - State Farm Agent Team Member

Job Title

Hunter Bolden State Farm helps protect families and businesses with dependable coverage and great service. We're looking for a customer/sale focused professional to manage policy renewals, verify coverage accuracy, and proactively help clients add additional protection especially when we don't have recent customer reviews to rely on.

What You'll Do

You will mainly work with current customers when their home, condo, and business owners:

1. Review renewals for existing customers to confirm:
   • Coverage details are correct
   • Information is up to date
   • Deductibles, limits, and payment methods match client needs
2. Upsell and cross-sell protection products they may not currently have, including:
   • Life insurance
   • Umbrella policies
   • Additional home/business protections as offered by State Farm
   • Any other relevant products the client qualifies for
3. Re-engage customers when reviews aren't available by:
   • Communicating value clearly
   • Asking thoughtful questions about current needs
   • Building trust through accurate, professional coverage conversations
   • Zoom meetings / State Farm Connect with customers
4. Document everything in the CRM system:
   • Call outcomes
   • Policy review notes
   • Quotes/appointments requested
   • Follow-ups needed
5. Meet daily/weekly performance goals related to:
   • Renewal conversations
   • Product recommendations
   • Appointments set and sales closed (as applicable)

• Enjoy talking with customers and helping them understand insurance options
• Are organized and consistent with follow-ups
• Can handle objections professionally and confidently
• Understand that renewals are about service + relationship, not just selling
• Communicate clearly and professionally over the phone
• Are comfortable working toward measurable goals

Sales experience preferred, but strong candidates with customer service experience are encouraged to apply. Training may be provided. Requirements

• Reliable transportation (if needed for occasional meetings)
• Ability to work phone hours and meet call/goal expectations
• Strong computer/CRM skills (or willingness to learn quickly)
• Must be able to obtain/maintain required licenses for insurance sales (we can share specifics during hiring)

Compensation: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
