Staff RN Educator - Ambulatory Services

Job Description Additional Information About the Role: Monday to Friday. 40 hours per week. Day Shift. Salaried Position. Benefits start first of month after hire. This position assists with onboarding, orientation, and staff education across multiple ambulatory units. Responsibilities include writing policies, procedures, and standard work. The ideal candidate is a self‑starter with excellent communication skills and someone who enjoys moving frequently between units. Preferred Qualifications: Previous RN Educator Experience, Previous Outpatient Experience. Responsibilities Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate ongoing educational and professional development activities and programs for clinical and non‑clinical areas. Collaborate with staff and representatives of other organizations to develop, present, and evaluate clinically focused training, continuing education, and professional development opportunities. Participate in activities that promote safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. Collaborate with leadership to assess the educational needs of staff and develop appropriate education plans. Participate in professional development and lifelong learning. Qualifications Minimum Requirements: Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or a related healthcare field. Experience: 2‑5 years of nursing and education experience; no supervisor experience required. Licenses & Certifications: RN (Registered Nurse); preferred: Master’s Degree in Nursing, Basic Cardiovascular Life Support (BCLS). Preferred Requirements: Education: Master’s Degree in Nursing. Experience: 5‑10 years of nursing and education experience. Licenses & Certifications: RN; preferred: Basic Cardiovascular Life Support (BCLS).
