MIG / Stick Welder – Fabricator
Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour
We are looking for an experienced MIG / Stick Welder to join our team in the Mt. Vernon, AL area.The ideal candidate will have experience welding thin steel plate and be comfortable with additional fabrication tasks.
Responsibilities
- Perform MIG and Stick welding on thin 1.5 mm steel plate.
- Grind and finish welds as needed.
- Safely operate a torch for cutting and heating applications.
- Inspect finished work for quality and accuracy.
- Follow welding procedures and workplace safety requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Perform other fabrication duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous MIG and Stick welding experience required.
- Experience welding thin-gauge steel (1.5 mm) preferred.
- Ability to use grinders and safely operate a torch.
- Ability to read and follow basic welding/fabrication instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Pay: $25.00/hour
