Litigation AssociateLocation: Boston, MASchedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | In OfficeSalary: $140,000–$160,000Experience: 5+ Years of Civil LitigationLicense Required: Active Massachusetts Bar LicensePractice Areas: Civil Litigation | Municipal Law | Probate & Estate Planning | Real Estate LawAbout the OpportunityOur client, an established mid-sized law firm, is seeking an experienced Litigation Associate to join its growing Boston office.This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who enjoys managing complex civil litigation matters from inception through resolution while working in a collaborative, client-focused environment.The ideal candidate is a strong litigator with exceptional legal writing, courtroom experience, and the ability to independently manage multiple cases while delivering outstanding client service.What You'll DoLitigation & Case Management• Manage civil litigation matters from initial filing through resolution

• Develop legal strategies and case plans based on client objectives and applicable law
• Conduct legal research and analyze complex legal issues
• Manage multiple active cases while meeting court deadlines and client expectationsPleadings & Discovery• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, memoranda, and other legal documents
• Prepare and respond to written discovery requests
• Review evidence, case files, and supporting documentation
• Ensure all filings comply with applicable court rules and procedural requirementsCourtroom Advocacy• Represent clients in hearings, depositions, mediations, and court proceedings
• Negotiate settlements and communicate with opposing counsel
• Prepare witnesses, exhibits, and litigation materials for hearings and trial
• Advocate on behalf of clients while achieving favorable outcomes whenever possibleClient & Team Collaboration• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through proactive communication and exceptional service
• Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and legal support staff throughout the litigation process
• Keep clients informed regarding case strategy, developments, and next steps
• Maintain organized case files and ensure timely completion of all legal workWhat You'll Bring• 5+ years of general civil litigation experience
• Strong knowledge of Federal, State, and Municipal court procedures
• Exceptional legal writing, research, and analytical skills
• Strong oral advocacy and courtroom presentation abilities
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills
• Ability to independently manage multiple cases and competing deadlines
• Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong judgment, initiative, and problem-solving abilitiesPreferred Qualifications• Experience in one or more of the following practice areas:• Municipal Law
• Probate & Estate Planning
• Real Estate Law• Additional litigation certifications or advanced legal training
• Portable book of business valued at $250,000+Education & Licensure• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
• Active Massachusetts Bar license in good standingCompensation & Benefits• Competitive Salary: $140,000–$160,000
