Key Responsibilities

• Provide cardiac surgical nursing care to a diverse patient population including pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and elderly patients
• Perform circulating nurse duties within the Operating Room for cardiac and procedural sedation cases
• Collaborate with a variety of provider specialties to support patients through surgical procedures
• Support both same-day discharge and inpatient admission workflows following surgical procedures

Required Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered Oregon RN license required at time of submission
• Healthcare Provider Level BLS certification required
• AHA ACLS certification required
• Minimum one (1) year experience as a Circulating Nurse in the OR, or completion of an approved didactic pre-operative nursing program
• Minimum two (2) years of experience in an ICU, PCU, and/or medical/surgical acute care setting
• Minimum one (1) year of CVOR / Open Heart experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ICU experience preferred
• Scrubbing experience preferred
