Laboratory Analyst

Environmental testing laboratory analyst position at Eurofins' Tinley Park facility involving preparation and analysis of environmental samples using standard analytical techniques. Role supports the Wet Chemistry team with instrumentation operation, sample handling, and data reporting under established protocols.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze environmental samples following standard analytical methods and SOPs
• Operate and become trained on gas chromatography, GC/MS, atomic absorption, ICP, and related instruments
• Aliquot, weigh, and process samples; wash and maintain glassware
• Calculate, record, and report analytical data and any anomalous findings to supervisor
• Maintain safe, efficient work practices and general housekeeping in assigned area

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry or related field preferred
• 1–2 years of laboratory experience or exposure
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
• Professional working proficiency in English (read, write, speak)
• Ability to learn complex instrumentation and data systems
• Sample preparation and chemical analysis using standard techniques
• Problem-solving, teamwork, and time management skills

Compensation: $18.00–$20.00/hour based on experience
