Job Title

Travel RN – Medical Surgical

Location

Sylva, NC | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Expected 36 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 24-bed Medical Surgical Combination unit with a 1:6 patient ratio
• Utilize the Paragon electronic health record (EHR) system for documentation and care coordination
• Float based on unit rotation as needed
• Maintain ACLS and BLS certifications throughout the assignment
• Participate in weekend rotation (every other or every third weekend)

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience
• Demonstrated Medical Surgical competencies
• Must live at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel placement

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Paragon EHR
• Familiarity with orthopedics, cardiology, or general surgery patient populations
