Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / Full Time / Day Shift / Sign On Bonus

Job Summary At Terraces of Lake Worth Care Center, we believe that a nurse’s time at work should be challenging, rewarding, and inspiring. We’re located in Lake Worth, FL and are looking for a full‑time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work alongside medical professionals who provide compassion and expertise to a diverse patient population. Shift: 7:00‑7:30 p.m. Hourly rate: $28.25–$31.00. Sign‑on bonus: $3,000. Objectives of this role Deliver a high standard of medical care according to each patient’s physician orders. Work alongside staff as part of an integrated, multidisciplinary team. Follow a model of care that supports the wellness of our patients and staff. Serve as a primary source of medical information for patients and caregivers. Foster a supportive and compassionate environment of care for patients and their families. Responsibilities Take and monitor patient vital signs. Assist patients with eating, dressing, and bathing. Administer medication. Communicate changes in patient behavior or health status to nurses, physicians, and family members. Maintain accurate patient records. Collect specimen samples when needed. Take an active part in patient care planning. Oversee Certified Nursing Assistants and provide training. Prepare patients for transfers or discharge. Assist in medical procedures. Manage emergency medical situations. Required skills and qualifications Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility. Bachelor’s of Science degree (or equivalent) in nursing. Licensure as an LPN in the State of Florida. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Preferred skills and qualifications Ability to communicate in more than one language. One or more years of experience in a skilled nursing facility. Benefits Salary: $28.25 – $31.00 hourly.
