Overview The Kinetic Group leads the design, manufacturing, and distribution of small-capital ammunition under iconic brands including B&P, CCI, Federal Premium, Fiocchi, HEVI-Shot, Remington, and Speer. The company operates domestic manufacturing facilities in Minnesota, Idaho, Arkansas, and Missouri and serves law‑enforcement, government agencies, and sporting enthusiasts worldwide. It is part of the Ammo+ division of The Czechoslovak Group, which spans defense, security, automotive, aerospace, and rail industries. Position Summary Production Supervisor based out of the Lonoke, Arkansas office, reporting to the Sr. Manager Factory Operations. The role follows a 2‑2‑3 rotating schedule of 12‑hour shifts (day: 4:45am–5:00pm; night: 4:45pm–5:00am). Training is conducted during the first two weeks on the day shift before transitioning to the rotating schedule. Occasional overtime may be required based on business needs. Responsibilities Provide daily leadership, coordinating the activities of employees, equipment, and the department to ensure safety practices, quality standards, and production schedules are met. Maintain accurate employee time and attendance records in TimeCentre. Promote a team‑oriented environment through open, two‑way communication, cooperation, mutual respect, and trust. Identify, evaluate, and recommend continuous‑improvement initiatives for safety, product/process quality, productivity, manufacturing costs, and schedule performance. Analyze production performance to identify capacity and other issues and drive corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Define and document training requirements, secure resources, and develop employees’ skills to ensure job competency. Interface daily with manufacturing support groups (maintenance, warehouse, engineering, production planning, quality, purchasing) to provide critical information and feedback. Work with individuals at all organizational levels to achieve company, plant, area, and departmental objectives. Respond timely and appropriately to employee questions, suggestions, and concerns. Provide accurate performance evaluations to team members. Conduct accident investigations, STOP observations, safety audits, and explosives audits as required. Communicate essential daily activities to the next‑shift supervisor to ensure smooth operation. Ensure inventory accuracy by working with cycle counters, investigating discrepancies, determining root causes, and implementing corrective actions. Perform additional duties as directed by business needs. Maintain good attendance as an essential function of the job. Qualifications Associate’s degree in Business, Industrial Management, or related field (preferred but not required) and at least two years of supervisory experience in a machine‑oriented manufacturing environment, or equivalent education/experience. Strong mechanical aptitude. Solid understanding of safe work habits, manufacturing processes, inventory control, and quality control methods. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics (or similar) and automated time and attendance systems. Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work in a team environment and interact with cross‑departmental personnel. Strong interpersonal and team‑building skills. Ability to manage multiple and conflicting priorities. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret production reports and operational performance documents to deliver daily performance requirements and continuous improvement activities. Ability to define problems, collect and analyze data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and make recommendations to management. Acceptance of accountability for personal performance and that of direct team members regarding all pertinent business requirements. Work Environment Assignments may involve work in hazardous areas, including flammables and explosives. Safety training is provided to ensure compliance with company and federal regulations. Pay & Benefits Pay range: $63,500.00 – $88,800.00. Salary is based on experience, education, location, and skills.
