Full Stack Web Developer

Web Developer - Full StackTEKsystems is seeking a mid-level to senior-level Web Developer for one of our financial services clients in Honolulu, Hawaii. This individual will join a growing technology team responsible for developing, maintaining, and modernizing customer-facing web applications and supporting services.This is an excellent opportunity for a developer who enjoys working across the full application stack while helping drive future technology upgrades and web platform modernization initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain responsive web applications and supporting services.Build, enhance, and support RESTful APIs that integrate with internal and third-party systems.Translate business and user experience requirements into scalable technical solutions.Develop and support database-driven applications utilizing SQL Server and relational databases.Troubleshoot and resolve software defects, production incidents, and performance issues.Participate in code reviews and follow established development standards and best practices.Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, designers, and development teams throughout the software development lifecycle.Optimize applications for performance, security, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.Support ongoing modernization efforts and future enhancements to web platforms and technology stacks.Document application architecture, technical designs, and deployment processes.Support software releases and occasionally assist with after-hours deployments or critical production support activities.Required Qualifications3+ years of professional web development experience.Experience developing and supporting web applications in a professional environment.Strong SQL and relational database experience, preferably SQL Server.Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.Experience using source control systems such as Git.Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills.Experience working in Agile or collaborative software development environments.Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)Experience with ASP.NET or ASP.NET Core.Experience with C# development.Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.Experience with React, Angular, or Vue.js.Experience with Entity Framework.Experience with Azure DevOps or CI/CD pipelines.Exposure to application modernization or migration initiatives.Experience within financial services, banking, or other regulated industries.Desired Technical SkillsCore SkillsWeb DevelopmentSQL ServerREST APIsGitRelational DatabasesPreferred TechnologiesASP.NET / ASP.NET CoreC#HTMLCSSJavaScriptReact, Angular, or VueEntity FrameworkAzure DevOpsWhat Makes This Opportunity UniqueJoin a growing technology team with significant modernization initiatives on the horizon.Opportunity to influence future web architecture and technology decisions.Work in a collaborative environment where developers have visibility into both business and technical initiatives.Long-term opportunity supporting critical web applications for a well-established financial services organization.Help shape the future technology strategy as the organization evaluates bringing greater ownership of its web platforms in-house.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Phoenix, AZ.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00/hr.
