About the Position

Job Opportunity – Case Management RN – Georgia

Start Date: December 7, 2026

Location: Atlanta, Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Monday through Friday, no weekends, no call. Ability to float within facility and scope of practice as needed. Daily census of 20-25 patients.

Highlights:

• Focus on discharge planning, care coordination, and utilization review for adult and geriatric patient populations
• Assess, evaluate, and drive discharge plans while coordinating services to appropriate levels of care
• Monitor length of stay, identify barriers to discharge, and ensure compliance with Medicare regulatory guidelines including IMM notices and MOONS
• Utilize InterQual and Milliman criteria for continued stay reviews, medical necessity determinations, and concurrent review
• Monday-Friday schedule with no weekend or call requirements
• Travel assignment with bi-weekly orientation schedule and potential for contract extension

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of Case Management nursing experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required; facility does not accept first-time travelers
• Active Georgia or Compact RN license required at time of submission
• Current BLS certification required
• Experience with discharge planning, care coordination, and utilization management
• Knowledge of CMS guidelines, DRG coding, medical necessity criteria, and HIPAA regulations
• Proficiency with electronic medical record charting systems required
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Full compliance documentation required to start on time
