Phlebotomist
Labcorp
Labcorp seeks a Phlebotomist for its Spencer, WV location to perform blood collections, process specimens, and provide patient services. The role operates Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with opportunities for growth and performance-based incentives.
Responsibilities
- Collect blood specimens via venipuncture and capillary techniques for all ages
- Process specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other assays
- Enter patient data and maintain specimen information logs accurately and timely
- Prepare specimens for testing, process billing, and collect payments as needed
- Deliver exceptional customer service and perform administrative duties; travel to additional sites when required
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Phlebotomy certification, completed training program, or 3+ months phlebotomy experience
- Exceptional customer service track record
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to pass color blindness screening test
- Reliable transportation; flexibility for overtime
