Anatomic / Surgical Pathologist – Full Time / Acupath Laboratories, Inc. – Plainview, NY Acupath Laboratories is a well-established and respected nationwide provider of specialized anatomic pathology services, focusing on areas like urology, gastroenterology, and hematology/oncology and a singular focus on client needs and a commitment to innovation and quality. Acupath offers a wide range of tests, including FISH testing for various cancers. We are based in Plainview, NY, and were founded in 1998. Position Overview Surgical pathology case sign-out (General surgical pathology, GI, GU, breast, biopsy, excision, and resection cases) Review may include screening and sign out cytopathology cases(non-gyn) Participate in internal and external quality assurance and performance improvement activities, departmental meetings, and facility-wide training as needed Work closely with the Medical Director and laboratory management team to ensure completion of cases within the required turnaround time (TAT) Direct collaboration with referring physicians Qualifications MD with Board Certification / Eligibility (AP/CP) NYS Medical License Fellowship training in Surgical Pathology required 3-5 years of experience preferred Compensation Up to $340,000 (commensurate with experience & subspecialty) #J-18808-Ljbffr Acupath Laboratories Inc.
