Ag Small Engine MechanicWe are working with a great client who is searching for a skilled and dependable Ag Small Engine Mechanic with a strong focus on lawn and turf equipment, particularly commercial and residential mowers. This role is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining small engine equipment to ensure peak performance and customer satisfaction.Key Responsibilities:Diagnose and repair small gasoline and diesel engines, primarily on zero-turn, riding, and walk-behind mowersPerform routine maintenance including oil changes, blade replacement, belt adjustments, and tune-upsTroubleshoot electrical systems, fuel systems, and hydraulic componentsRepair or replace engines, carburetors, starters, PTO systems, and drive componentsConduct pre-delivery inspections and equipment setupMaintain accurate service documentation and communicate repair timelinesEnsure a clean, organized, and safe work environmentQualifications:2+ years of experience working on small engines or turf equipmentStrong mechanical aptitude and diagnostic skillsExperience with mower brands and turf equipment preferredAbility to read service manuals and schematicsBasic computer skills for work orders and parts lookupAbility to lift 50+ lbs and work in a shop environmentPreferred Experience:Agricultural or outdoor power equipment backgroundFamiliarity with hydraulic systems and electrical troubleshootingTechnical certifications a plusWhat We Offer:Competitive pay based on experienceFull benefits package (health, dental, vision)401(k)Paid time offStable, year-round work environmentIf you enjoy working on equipment, solving mechanical problems, and keeping customers' machines running at peak performance, we encourage you to apply.
