Required Skills

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology (BC or BE in Gastro)
• Current PA Medical License with active DEA certification
• BLS and ACLS certification
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in gastroenterology procedures and patient care
• Strong knowledge of endoscopic practices and hospital protocols
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR system
• Excellent communication and patient management skills

Nice to Have Skills

• Experience with advanced procedures such as ERCP or EUS (not required)
• Prior experience in hospital-based gastroenterology practices
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Preferred Education and Experience

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited medical school
• At least 1 year of hands-on hospital-based gastroenterology experience

Other Requirements

• Must hold PA state medical license and DEA registration
• Ability to work daytime hours Tuesday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, during scheduled scopes (Sept 21 – Oct 30)
• Willingness to comply with hospital credentialing process (approx. 90 days)
• No inpatient or call responsibilities during contract period
