Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to patients in the ER.

• Assess patient conditions, triage effectively, and prioritize care delivery.

• Administer medications and monitor for adverse reactions per protocols.

• Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and regulatory requirements.

• Generate and act on performance metrics and care outcomes to meet department targets.

• Document patient assessments, treatments, and responses in electronic health records.

• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop care plans.

• Monitor patient progress, escalate concerns, and coordinate timely discharges or transfers.

• Mentor and support junior staff and contribute to a culture of continuous learning.

• Engage with patients and families to provide clear information and compassionate care.

• Adhere to contract terms and on-site work expectations while maintaining flexibility in scheduling.

Experience/Qualifications

• Current RN license and valid Emergency Room nursing certification.

• Minimum 2-3 years ER or acute care experience in high-volume settings.

• Advanced triage skills with ability to prioritize rapidly under pressure.

• Ability to administer medications, monitor adverse reactions, and adjust plans per protocol.

• Proficiency with electronic health records and documentation standards.

• Knowledge of infection control, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance.

• Strong communication skills for patient, family, and interdisciplinary team interactions.

• Performance-driven mindset with ability to work toward department targets and metrics.

• Experience in mentoring junior staff and contributing to a learning culture.

• On-site, contract-based role with flexible scheduling and adherence to on-call expectations.
