About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President for Wholesale Sales to lead the strategic development and expansion of wholesale revenue for a portfolio of men's lifestyle and apparel brands. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving wholesale growth strategy, including the identification and securing of new retail distribution opportunities, and deepening relationships with key wholesale partners. This role is pivotal in accelerating the growth of emerging and expanding brands, with a focus on increasing market share, developing strategic customer relationships, and delivering sustainable growth. The VP will also be tasked with new business development, account leadership, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure the successful execution of seasonal launches and growth programs. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with a minimum of 10 years' progressive wholesale apparel sales experience. A proven track record in growing wholesale apparel businesses with major retailers and a strong network of senior-level retail relationships are essential. The role requires a candidate with strong business acumen, exceptional communication, and negotiation skills, and the ability to balance account management with proactive new business development. Experience in men's tailored clothing, dress apparel, sportswear, or lifestyle apparel categories is preferred, as is a strong understanding of omni-channel retail strategies and wholesale distribution models. The ideal candidate will be adept at business planning and analysis, and will work closely with cross-functional teams to align resources and support retailer growth initiatives.
