Laboratory Robotics Operator

Laboratory Robotics Operator position in Burlington, NC working overnight shifts (11pm-7:30am). Responsibilities include specimen preparation, data entry, quality control, and operation of automated laboratory equipment while maintaining production metrics and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and introduce biological specimens for laboratory processing and analysis
• Verify patient information against requisition forms and enter data into tracking systems
• Unpack, route, and stage specimens; pack and ship to testing facilities as needed
• Operate automated instrumentation and resolve documentation of problem specimens
• Handle medical waste disposal and maintain compliance with safety and environmental policies

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 3+ months specimen processing or medical/laboratory experience preferred
• Proficiency with automated equipment operation
• Basic computer skills and data entry ability
• Ability to pass standardized color blindness test
• Physical capability to meet job demands
