Location: Lafayette, IN

Pay: $25-$40/hour, based on experience

Schedule: Full-Time

A local motorcoach company is seeking an experienced **Diesel Mechanic **to maintain and repair its fleet of motorcoaches. This position is responsible for preventative maintenance, diagnostics, inspections, and repairs to help keep vehicles safe, reliable, and road-ready. On-call availability is required.

Responsibilities

Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled service on motorcoaches
Diagnose and repair diesel engines and related systems
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
Complete inspections and ensure vehicles meet safety standards
Maintain accurate repair and maintenance records
Respond to occasional on-call service needs

Qualifications

Experience working on diesel engines and related systems
Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
Ability to work independently
Experience using diagnostic software and repair tools
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Diesel mechanic certification or technical training is a plus
Experience working on motorcoaches is preferred
CDL is a plus
