As a Math Teacher, you will guide students in mastering mathematics through engaging and innovative lessons. You will be responsible for creating an inclusive and supportive classroom environment that fosters academic growth and personal responsibility. Key Responsibilities Plan and teach mathematics courses Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary approaches to math instruction Maintain an orderly, engaging classroom environment that is conducive to learning Employ positive classroom management techniques, encouraging student responsibility Regularly monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and guidance Mentor students, promoting academic achievement and personal development Foster strong relationships with parents, proactively engaging them in their child’s education Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or a related field (Master’s preferred) Minimum of 2+ years of teaching experience at the middle or high school level Strong ability to present mathematical concepts with clarity and confidence A collaborative spirit, sense of humor and willingness to roll your sleeves up to help wherever and whenever needed Commitment to building supportive relationships with students both in and beyond the classroom Ability to pass both state and federal background check To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
