Cornerstone Electrical and Communications is looking for a motivated and hardworking Helper to join our growing team in Jacksonville, FL! This is a fantastic opportunity to get your foot in the door of the electrical and communications industry, learn from experienced professionals, and build a rewarding career. If you're ready to roll up your sleeves and make an impact, we want to hear from you! Responsibilities:
- Assist electricians and technicians with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical and communication systems
- Transport tools, materials, and equipment to job sites as needed
- Prepare work areas by setting up ladders, scaffolding, and other equipment
- Support the team with wiring, conduit bending, and cable pulling tasks
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site at all times
- Follow all safety protocols, OSHA guidelines, and company procedures
- Assist with loading and unloading materials and supplies
- No prior electrical experience required a willingness to learn is a must
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, climbing, and standing for extended periods
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
- Basic hand and power tool knowledge is a plus
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to job site safety
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
