• Shift: 8-hour nights, 11:00 PM–7:30 AM
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend

CT Technologist Job Requirements

• ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT) required
• Valid CT Technologist license or certification required for practice in Connecticut
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Strong knowledge of CT imaging procedures, patient safety practices, and radiation safety standards
• Ability to work overnight shifts and every other weekend
• Excellent communication, attention to detail, and commitment to patient-centered care

CT Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic computed tomography examinations according to established protocols and quality standards
• Verify patient identity, review clinical information, and explain CT procedures clearly to patients
• Prepare and position patients safely while maintaining comfort, dignity, and privacy
• Operate hospital CT equipment and assess images for technical quality and completeness
• Follow radiation protection, infection prevention, and department safety procedures
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other members of the healthcare team
• Document CT procedures accurately and maintain compliance with departmental requirements
• Respond professionally to the needs of patients and the imaging team during overnight coverage
