Position Overview Title: Preventive Maintenance Technician Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm Responsibilities Execute maintenance and repair work on interior and exterior hotel equipment, rooms, and common areas. Complete work orders such as replacing ceiling tiles, filters, light bulbs, and other consumables. Perform preventive maintenance duties and regularly scheduled maintenance as outlined in the PMWorks program. Maintain cleanliness and safety of the building exterior, grounds, pool, and exercise facilities, including property signage, lighting, and snow removal. Follow procedures that secure inventory and assets, including tools, supplies, furniture, and electronics. Ensure equipment is prepared and operational for the next day’s work. Inspect building, furniture, bathrooms, guest rooms, and all equipment to verify proper function and efficiency. Read and record mechanical and other meters for effective energy management, and maintain inspection logs and repair records. Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments. Comply with federal, state, and local laws regarding health and safety services. Perform other duties as assigned and demonstrate commitment to sustainability and green initiatives. Qualifications Minimum of 1 year experience in resort maintenance or a similar field. Demonstrated ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively in written and spoken English. Ability to explain and demonstrate essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation. Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred. Adherence to occupational safety and health practices, including the use of personal protective equipment when required. Physical stamina to stand, walk, climb ladders, squat, lift up to 50lbs., and work in confined spaces under temperature extremes and inclement weather. Ability to work at heights above 6feet. Physical Demands Standing, walking, and climbing ladders for extended periods. \l Squatting and lifting between 50lbs. and accommodation of confined spaces.
