Travel RN – Labor & Delivery (Night Shift)

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite | Projected Start: April 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care across labor, delivery, and postpartum in an LDRP setting with a 20-bed unit and 2 operating rooms
• Manage labor patients using active positioning techniques and 1:1 labor support, supporting a low-intervention, birthing-center-style experience
• Perform and assist with vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, NSTs, and circumcisions
• Utilize GE fetal monitoring, Monica Novii wireless monitoring, and Alaris infusion pumps; document in CPN and Meditech EMR systems
• Conduct bedside shift report, communication board updates, and participate in nurse leader rounding to support patient experience goals
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including residents, a dedicated women's services anesthesia team, and a 24/7 OB Hospitalist

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of current acute care hospital Labor & Delivery experience
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Current NRP certification
• Current IFMC or AWHONN certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• OR circulating experience in an obstetric setting
• Experience with labor positioning and Spinning Babies techniques
• Demonstrated ability to recognize and manage OB emergencies
