Full-Time Automotive Technician

Role Overview The Senior Automotive Technician diagnoses, repairs, and performs advanced vehicle maintenance in line with dealership, manufacturer, and company standards. You will utilize technical expertise to conduct diagnostics, heavy-duty repairs, and multi-point inspections, ensuring quality and safety. Communicating technical findings clearly to customers and team members is essential. Adherence to safety procedures and company policies is required. Flexibility to work varied schedules, excluding Sundays, is expected. Qualifications & Skills Previous automotive technician or mechanic experience required; ASE certifications accepted in lieu of experience. Proficiency with computerized diagnostic equipment. Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain a State Inspector License if applicable. High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred. Ability to lift up to 70 pounds, stand, bend, and work in varying environmental conditions. Key Duties Diagnose vehicles based on experience and certifications. Perform repairs efficiently and accurately, documenting all work. Explain diagnoses and repairs to customers and team members. Recommend necessary services to maintain vehicle safety and performance. Follow safety protocols and report hazards. Maintain professionalism, adhere to policies, and support team goals.
