Director, Technical GTM

We're hiring a Director, Technical GTM to lead how Narmi's product gets known, understood, and sold to the market. You'll own the strategy and execution of technical sales motion from high-level executive positioning to deep-dive operational demos. You'll sit on the go-to-market leadership team, partner directly with product and engineering on roadmap strategy, and lead a team of Technical GTM Specialists who report to you.The role is equal parts strategic and tactical. You'll shape how Narmi's breadth and depth gets communicated to prospects while simultaneously solving their specific problems. You'll spend time in the field closing deals, training and developing your team, and ensuring the best of what we build gets externally communicated with precision.This is a high-impact role that requires someone who's done this before, someone who can drive quick wins while also building repeatable, scalable processes for a scaling company.What you'll ownTechnical Sales Leadership & StrategyLead and develop a team of Technical GTM Specialists; set hiring, enablement, and performance expectationsDefine the technical sales motion and messaging architecture, positioning both the breadth and depth of the platformOwn the strategic narrative around Narmi's competitive advantages; collaborate with product leadership on roadmap storytellingDrive deal strategy on complex, multi-stakeholder transactions with executive and operational buyersExecution & DeliveryPersonally lead high-stakes demos and deep dives for critical prospects (executive-level and operational-level)Manage quarterly planning cadence and provide frontline feedback to product leadership on what the market is asking forPartner with product operations on release strategy and go-to-market executionAct as the technical authority on the sales team; support the sales organization on complex technical questions and deal structuresCross-functional PartnershipsWork closely with product, design, and engineering teams to align on messaging, roadmap priorities, and new feature storytellingCollaborate with sales leadership on hiring, training, and go-to-market alignmentEnsure tight feedback loops between customer conversations and internal strategyWhat you'll bring8+ years of complex B2B SaaS technical sales experience, with proven leadership of sales engineering or technical GTM functionsDeep fintech or financial services domain expertise, strong understanding of banking economics (interchange, deposits, lending), and how digital experiences impact financial institutions' business modelsTrack record leading technical sales teams through hypergrowth; ability to scale processes without losing qualityComfort and credibility presenting to executive buyers (CIO, CISO, COO, Digital Banking leaders)Strong pattern recognition: you understand how enterprise fintech deals actually closeProduct mindset—you've partnered deeply with Product, Design, and Engineering to shape roadmap and positioningNYC-based or willing to commute to NYC in-person 2-3 days a week (this role requires close collaboration with product and engineering)Action-oriented. You drive momentum and avoid endless artifact production. You use AI as a daily force multiplier and have opinions about which tools are actually worth using.This role’s expected annual base salary is $175,000 - $200,000 with on-target earnings in the range of $262,500 - $300,000. In addition to base salary and OTE, you will receive an equity option grant, and are eligible for performance-based cash and equity bonuses. Compensation included in an offer will be commensurate with the candidate’s skills, experience and geographic location. Compensation ranges for candidates located outside of New York City may differ. You will also receive a full benefits package.
