Opportunities for ongoing training and professional development Shifts: Day Shift (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM) Position: Treatment Licensed Practical Nurse ( LPN ) Location: Adams Rehabilitation and Care Center, Alexander City, Alabama Join our compassionate team, delivering expert-led support at Adams Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center! Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive wound assessments and develop individualized treatment plans Administer wound care treatments including dressing changes, debridement, and documentation Monitor wound healing progression and communicate findings with the interdisciplinary team Collaborate with providers, nursing staff, and therapists to deliver coordinated care Educate staff, patients, and families on wound care management and prevention Maintain accurate, detailed, and timely clinical records in the electronic medical record system Adhere to infection control and safety protocols in all aspects of wound care delivery Qualifications: Current and unencumbered LPN license in the state of Alabama Previous experience in wound care or completion of wound care certification preferred Strong clinical knowledge of wound healing, infection control, and pressure ulcer prevention Excellent communication and collaboration skills Familiarity with PointClickCare (PCC) or other EMR systems is a plus CPR/BLS certification required We are an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws. #J-18808-Ljbffr Venza Care
