Hospital Privileges Required: Yes
Temporary Privileges Available: Yes
Credentialing Timeline: 120 days

REQUIRED PROCEDURES
Code stroke response and post-procedure inpatient care for neurointerventional surgery patients.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Board: Board Certified: AANP
Licenses: Active VA license (preferred); eligibility to apply accepted.
Certifications: ACLS, BLS required; AANP board certification required.
Experience: Neurocritical care nursing experience and neurovascular experience with code stroke alerts.
Other Qualifications: Clean background, no malpractice or license issues.

Duties & Responsibilities

Respond to code stroke alerts.
Provide post-procedure inpatient care for neurointerventional surgery patients.
Monitor and manage patient neurological status.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team including neurosurgery and neurology.
Document patient assessments and interventions in EPIC.
