Contract | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Days | 12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical/Surgical unit serving adult and geriatric populations across two units (22 beds each)
• Manage patient ratios of up to 6:1–7:1, delivering safe and effective nursing care
• Utilize telemetry equipment and document patient information using the MEDITECH EHR system
• Work every other weekend as part of the standard schedule
• Float as a second nurse to Telemetry and the Emergency Department as needed
• Maintain compliance with all required certifications, including BLS and NIH Stroke Scale

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license with a minimum of 2 years of Medical/Surgical experience
• Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher
• BLS certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Candidates must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel placement

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with MEDITECH electronic health records system
• Familiarity with common diagnoses and treatments including surgical care, peritoneal dialysis exchanges, and behavioral health presentations
• Experience in Telemetry or Emergency Department settings
