We're seeking a personable, team-oriented optometrist to provide exceptional medical eye care in a modern, patient-focused environment. Family Vision Care and Contact Lenses is very well established and has been serving the greater Sacramento area since 1990. We specialize in:
- Full scope medical optometry
- Myopia control programs for children and young adults
- Advanced dry eye diagnosis and management
- Specialty contact lenses including scleral, hybrid, RGP and ortho K lenses
- Cataract and refractive surgery co-management
What we offer:
- Competitive pay of $600-$700 per day
- Benefits package, dependent on hours worked (medical and dental insurance, 401k, paid vacation, paid time off, malpractice insurance fully covered and continuing education allowance)
- Modern equipment (digital phoropters, Topcon Maestro OCT, Topcon NW500 fundus camera, Oculus visual field, axial length biometry, meibography, non-invasive tear break up time, anterior segment photography connected to slit lamp, Systane iLux, ABMax)
- Support from experienced staff (over 20+ years)
Ideal candidate:
- If you're residency-trained, that's a big plus—but it's not required! We're equally excited to welcome new graduates or experienced ODs who are eager to grow with us.
- Licensed California optometrist
- Committed to delivering outstanding patient experiences
- Knowledge and experience with Myopia Management is a plus, but not required - we will support you to obtain certifications and training in Myopia Management
