CT Technologist

Participates in various assigned tasks related to imaging technology. Performs diagnostic quality procedures in a safe manner. Follows guidelines set by the relevant regulatory body in computerized tomography. Education requirement includes graduation from an imaging technology program approved by licensing bodies. Candidates must have experience with GE and Toshiba/Canon equipment. Epic charting experience is required. Skills required include 3D rendering techniques and various CT procedures. Must be proficient in the preparation and administration of contrast media. Experience in a level II trauma center is preferred. Candidates may be required to float to other facilities. Refusing to float may result in contract cancellation. All certifications must be submitted in specified formats. A specialty-relevant certification is necessary for allied positions. This position focuses on outpatient care with a diverse patient age group. The facility operates with a daily census of approximately 190 visits. Collaboration with various interdisciplinary support teams is expected. Compliance with safety regulations is mandatory. Further training modules may be required annually.
