Foresight Bank Loan Servicing Specialist
Foresight Bank is the largest, locally owned community bank in Northern Illinois, with fifteen offices in the counties of Winnebago, Stephenson and Kankakee. Responsible for the efficient, quality servicing of all secondary market and in-house real estate loans by performing the following duties.
- Manages mortgage loan insurance policies including maintenance of the tickler system, updates, changes, imaging and cancellations to existing policies.
- Manages the monitoring and placement of force-placed insurance.
- Quotes, prepares and administers mortgage loan payoffs.
- Processes mortgage loan transaction tickets, including ACH/ AFT and payoffs.
- Monitors the Servicing Mailbox and directs internal and external phone calls.
- Handles customer calls and inquiries.
- Processes escrow requests and payments.
- Processes PMI cancellation requests
- Completes loan maintenance requests.
- Performs General Ledger balancing based on a rotating schedule.
- Assists in managing timely and accurate Freddie Mac and daily reporting and entries
- Assists in managing timely and accurate FHLBC reporting and entries
- Assists in completing Servicing Reconciliation and checking of morning reports.
- Performs Habitat for Humanity monthly Reconciliation.
- Ensures compliance with all Bank policies and procedures and all applicable state and federal banking laws, rules and regulations including Bank Secrecy Act and Anti Money Laundering to assist management in monitoring for suspicious activity, money laundering, or other illegal customer activity.
- Completes other projects and duties as assigned by the manager.

Technical: Knowledge of Jack Henry, AccuSystems, LaserPro, AdobePro. Knowledge of business and banking technology and moderate skill level in usage and promotion of such. Proficient in understanding the commercial loan documentation forms, content and processes. Advanced knowledge of policies, procedures and regulations. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel. Basic understanding of accounting principles.
Timeliness in the completion of the daily assigned tasks by the department to ensure regulatory and operational standards are achieved.

Associate Degree or HS Diploma/equivalent and commensurate experience preferred. 2+ years' knowledge and experience in loan transactions, lending, loan operations and procedures preferred.
This job operates in a clerical office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copy machines, filing cabinets and fax machines.
