Heart Failure Specialist – South Shore University Hospital Bay Shore, New York Northwell Health’s Department of Cardiology is seeking a fellowship-trained Heart Failure Specialist to join the cardiac team at South Shore University Hospital located in Bay Shore, New York. The program offers comprehensive advanced heart failure care, including medical and device therapies such as CardioMems device implantation, cardiac resynchronization therapy, Barostim therapy, high risk cardiac surgery, mechanical circulatory support such as LVADs, and heart transplantation. The program also participates in active clinical trials and offers graduate medical training. The ideal candidate The ideal candidate will be Board Certified/Eligible in ABIM Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology and have additional experience reading Cardiopulmonary Exercise Tests. The role will focus on inpatient and outpatient heart failure care at South Shore University Hospital, with opportunities to participate in transplant and LVAD programs at North Shore University Hospital.
