Registered Nurse - Mixed ICU (CVICU Focus)

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

3x12-Hour Day Shifts from 07:00 AM to 07:30 PM.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Mixed ICU team, focused primarily on Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU). The ideal candidate will have experience in caring for both fresh and cardiac patients, as well as the ability to manage overflow cases efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to CVICU patients.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions to detect changes in status.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Take overflow patients as needed, ensuring continuity of care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with a focus on ICU and CVICU.
• ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and CALS certifications are required.
• Valid Maryland or Compact RN license required at time of submission.
