In this role, you will support the civil and structural design of EPC projects from early development through construction, commissioning, and turnover. You’ll work closely with experienced engineers and designers to deliver practical, buildable solutions in a fast‑paced, hands‑on environment.This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer to gain exposure across both civil and structural disciplines and grow technical ownership over time. Since 1980, our commitment to integrity and excellence has earned us a reputation as a trusted industry partner and a rewarding workplace.What You Will DoInteract with suppliers and contractors as necessary to resolve construction and engineering design issues.Assist in defining project scopes and estimates, execute all aspects of structural design, and support project construction as required.Review incoming RFIs/Submittals and expedite responses.Participate in final design coordination meetings and approve modifications.Conduct walk-downs with site representatives to verify proper installations.Responsible for engineering structural steel supports, pipe racks, modular skids, and platforms.Engineer foundations for racks & structures, vertical & horizontal vessels, pumps, compressors, and the balance of plant foundation for gas plants.Participate and promote Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) work culture.Enforce EH&S regulations and adheres to current codes and standards.Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering Ability to read, interpret, and develop engineering drawings and calculationsExperience assisting with the design of structural steel and/or foundations for industrial equipmentLegal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship now or in the futureWhat Will Put You Ahead4+ years of experience in Structural engineering Licensed Professional EngineerDemonstrated knowledge of electrical, process, mechanical, HVAC and instrumentation industry standardsKnowledge of PIP, ASCE, AISC, ACIGas treatment and/or natural gas structural design experienceExperience using the RISA and/or STAAD structural programsAt Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
