Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC), supporting middle school students in a dynamic educational environment. This position is based on-site, with no virtual option, and will provide essential services to learners in need of speech and language support. Your expertise will help shape student outcomes and foster communication skills crucial for their academic and social success.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current Illinois Professional Educator License with SLP endorsement
  • Valid Illinois SLP license
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English required
  • Previous experience working with middle-school-aged children preferred
  • Flexibility to work full-time (37.5 hours/week) or part-time
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy services to a caseload averaging 45 students under the state cap
  • Provide intervention and assessment for a diverse middle school population
  • Document student progress and maintain compliance with school and state guidelines
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to develop and implement individualized educational plans (IEPs)
  • Serve as a resource for the school team regarding communication disorders and effective strategies
  • May support one or more schools depending on final caseload assignment
  • Engage actively in professional development and school meetings as needed
