Registered Nurse (RN) – Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 10-bed Intensive Care Unit with a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Manage and titrate vasoactive and sedation drips including Propofol, Levophed, Dobutamine, Vasopressin, Fentanyl, Epinephrine, and Diltiazem
• Care for complex patient populations including heart failure, respiratory failure, sepsis, ventilated patients, GI bleeds, strokes, TPA administration, post-cardiac arrest, pneumonia, and post-surgical patients
• Independently read and interpret cardiac monitor strips using Spacelabs monitoring system (no telemetry techs on unit)
• Collaborate with charge nurses, CNAs, respiratory therapists, hospitalists, and telehealth intensivists to deliver coordinated patient care
• Float as needed to Telemetry and other ICU locations within the health system

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in the state of Idaho or compact state eligibility
• Minimum of 1 year of ICU nursing experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Proficiency in titrating critical care drips
• Ability to independently read and interpret cardiac monitor strips
• Strong team collaboration and communication skills

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with ventilated patients and respiratory equipment including high-flow oxygen and BiPAP
• Familiarity with Spacelabs monitoring systems
• Prior travel nursing experience welcomed but not required
