Rheumatology Opportunity in Western Pennsylvania

Seeking a board-certified rheumatologist to join an existing, hospital-employed practice. In addition, satellite outreach office 20 minutes from primary location including opportunity for active telemedicine support. Outpatient only, no call. In-office drug infusion. Outstanding imaging available, including MRI, DEXA, and plain imaging in office building. Orthopedics, podiatry, physiatry, pain clinic, spine clinic, and outpatient rehab also in the building. Highly competitive compensation based on experience. Benefits include malpractice insurance, CME allowance, health insurance including an HAS, relocation allowance, educational loan reimbursement, and sign-on bonus.

Community/facility info: Centrally located in southwestern Pennsylvania. The county's population is about 89,000 and stable, with a concentration of about 23,000. Largest of the state-owned colleges at about 14,500 undergraduates, is the largest employer in the county. Hospital is second largest employer with about 1400 currently on the payroll. The community is well-known for its quality school system that is highly ranked in the state and has been nationally recognized. There are a great many activities available for children and adults alike. Outdoor sports include fishing, hunting, golfing, tennis, swimming, boating, hiking, and camping with many different kinds of opportunities. The university brings a large variety of cultural events to the community, and these will soon increase with the completion of a new arena within sight of the hospital.
