Food Service Team Openings - Multiple Positions Available - Hiring Immediately

We're currently hiring for several food service positions supporting a hospital environment in Osawatomie, KS. Whether you have leadership experience, cooking skills, customer service experience, or are looking to get started in food service, we'd love to hear from you.

Available Positions & Pay

• Food Service Supervisor : $18.00 - $20.00/hr
• Driver : $17.00 - $19.00/hr
• Cook : $16.00 - $18.50/hr
• Food Service Worker : $15.00 - $17.00/hr

Schedule

Must be open to working weekends. Employees will receive 2 days off each week.

Shifts vary depending on department needs and will be discussed during the interview process:

• 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
• 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
• 10:45 AM - 7:30 PM

Food Service Supervisor

$18.00 - $20.00/hr

Lead and support daily food service operations while ensuring quality meal production and delivery throughout the facility.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and support food service staff during daily operations
• Assist with scheduling, timekeeping, and inventory management
• Monitor meal preparation, packaging, and delivery
• Step into operational roles as needed, including cook, driver, or food service worker
• Promote a positive, team-oriented work environment

Qualifications:

• Previous food service and leadership experience preferred
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Organized and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends

Driver

$17.00 - $19.00/hr

Transport meals and supplies between units across the hospital campus while supporting the food service team as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver meal trays and supplies throughout the facility
• Safely operate company vehicles
• Assist with dishwashing and cleaning duties
• Support food service operations where needed
• Ensure timely and accurate deliveries

Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license required
• Strong customer service skills
• Reliable and safety-focused
• Team-oriented with a willingness to assist in multiple areas

Cook

$16.00 - $18.50/hr

Prepare and serve high-quality meals for patients, staff, and visitors.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare hot and cold food items for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special events
• Follow recipes, portion guidelines, and food safety standards
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
• Ensure food quality and presentation standards are met

Qualifications:

• Previous cooking or food preparation experience preferred
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Food Service Worker

$15.00 - $17.00/hr

Support meal service and food preparation operations throughout the facility.

Responsibilities:

• Serve food from counters and steam tables
• Assist with meal setup and preparation
• Clean and sanitize equipment, dishes, and workstations
• Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment

Qualifications:

• Food service, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Willingness to work weekends and various shifts

Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Osawatomie, KS.

Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
